Mohamed Salah Offers Statement to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the group of players in the wake of the fallout from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
Arne Slot has refused to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the player.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
He also implied that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “I understand there are certain ways you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”

The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the games following the situation. Jones believes the Salah's words were never meant to cause disruption.
