These initial sketches and paintings will then be expanded upon in the studio, with participants completing a number of abstract landscapes in acrylic paint to be displayed in the local community. Vegetarian Cooking in the Algarve

This sun-drenched cooking retreat, based at a riverside villa in the central Portuguese region, is draws inspiration from the plant-based cuisine of renowned chefs. Hip Hop in Buckinghamshire

This energetic camp is an uplifting, inclusive three-day dance intensive for adults in High Wycombe. The format each day is a high-energy group warmup, then three 90-minute classes teaching different street dance styles, then an 60-minute jam to demonstrate new moves. Participants are divided into levels according to skill level, so it is perfect for those who are brand new to popping and locking, all the way to experienced performers or teachers. The camp doesn’t include lodging but there are a number of hostels and hotels nearby, and it is 23-35 minutes by train into London.

Maritime Singing Weekend in St Ives

St Ives is the ideal spot for a sea shanty weekend. Participants will be taught traditional shanties from a folk singer and vocal coach, and try their hand at writing their own. There will be vocal warmups, breathing exercises, performance tips and a closing performance. The holiday is based at a country house overlooking the bay. All meals are included, such as a Cornish cream tea on arrival, cooked or continental breakfasts, lunches to go and three-course dinners. Grog, unfortunately, is not provided. Creative Writing in Crete

Writer and tutor Greg Mosse leads the regular sessions on this writing retreat. He explores everything from story structure, characters, locations and suspense, to submitting work to agents.
